Exoplanets?

Exoplanets: planets which orbit stars outside the solar system.

Known as HD 189733b; first discovered in 2005 it orbits its parent star 63 light-years away. Though it way look similar to Earth the exoplanet is uninhabitable. If the daytime temperature of 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit didn’t kill you the possibility of glass rain hurtling sideways at 4,500 mph just might.

Unique and millions of kilometres away, this exoplanet holds mysteries like no other: demonstrating a new phenomenon of glass rain. The pure heat of this blow-torched world is able to create the glass rain and generate astonishingly fast winds up to 7 times the speed of light!

There may be others like this planet or perhaps even stranger.
